RECENT NEWS:

Nicolas is a proud Lifetime Member of the famed Actors Studio, whose membership roll is a veritable who’s who of the acting world: Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel, Dustin Hoffman, Christopher Walken, Robert DeNiro and Mickey Rourke, to name but a few.

Forty years ago, Jack Nicholson studied acting with Martin Landau and today Nicolas studies with Martin Landau as well as with director Mark Rydell (On Golden Pond, The River, James Dean) at the Actors Studio. Prior to becoming a member of the Actors Studio, Nicolas studied acting with Marc Marno at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. Continuing the thread of tradition isn’t lost on Nick for a minute. He is ever grateful for opportunities such as these.

In addition to his dramatic skills, Nick is also gifted comedic actor. His talents soar in sketch comedy and in performing impersonations where Nick’s uncanny skill in creating characterizations of Mick Jagger, Woody Allen, Elvis, Jack Nicholson, Don Knotts, Sylvester Stallone, Andrew Dice Clay, Christopher Walken, and many others have left audiences laughing in tears and hysterics. Nick is also a master of dialects, many of which he has used on stage and in front of the camera to perfection. When you see and hear him speaking with a British, Scottish, Irish, Russian, Italian, French, Brooklyn, New York, or California surfer accent, or many more, you really believe he is from those places.

The west-coast premiere of “Tennessee William’s Lost Plays,” presented at the Actors Studio, starred Nicolas in Tennessee’s one act, “The Fat Man’s Wife,” in which he played a young suitor attempting to seduce an older married woman.
